	<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://features.cgsociety.org/gallerycrits/234483/234483_1212611509_small.jpg"><br><br>Hi guys, these images are from an animation that I made for a TV channel 1 year a go, the idea is to see the tree during the four seasons while the camera turn around making 360° to showing us the transition between each season.<br />
I make modeling in Maya and rendering with mental ray, for the compositing I used After effects et photoshop for the matte painting in background. I hope you like it. <img src="http://forums.cgsociety.org/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="" class="inlineimg" />]]>

this is my latest personal matte painting. I wanted to focus on the dark side of the castle through the clouds, contrast between the bottom and top of the image is interesting because it shows us two different worlds, the water is an important element that has added perspective in the image and it represents life. I like the atmosphere of this picture, rendering is done with mental ray by passes, the head is modelled in Maya from photos (this is a friend of mine)<img src="http://forums.cgsociety.org/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="" class="inlineimg" />, the compositing is done in after effects with multilayers. I did this work for a tv channel, is an animation with cutting and dynamic editing. I hope you like it, wait your comments. ]]>
